SmartFixIT BMW races at Silverstone
The SmartFixIT sponsored BMW 330 sport recently competed in this
years BritCar 24 hour race held at Silverstone.
After a blistering start from driver Dave Benett the team
climbed fifteen places to be in third in class at the first
driver change over.
Unfortunately that was the end of the challenge as the
ultra-reliable BMW developed a fuelling system problem, which
kept the car off track for a total of four hours. After the
valiant efforts of the mechanics to get the car rebuilt, the
team decided they were too far adrift to mount a realistic
challenge.
